"O Red Bull Flugtag é um evento para todos que amam aventura, tem inspiração, senso de humor e criatividade para invenções.
O objetivo é reunir uma equipe, que deve projetar e construir sua própria máquina voadora, além de também pilotá-la! A construção dos aviões caseiros pode ser feita com qualquer material, desde que esteja de acordo com as especificações do regulamento e que vise atingir a maior distância no vôo e pousar na água.
Estão em jogo a criatividade e originalidade, a performance do vôo até a água e a maior distância!"

A RAMPA deste ano será montada no PARQUE ECOLÓGICO DO TIETÊ, situado na divisa entre São Paulo e Guarulhos, na Rodovia Ayrton Senna sentido SP-Rio com acesso pelo Km 17.
O parque com 140 km² é um dos maiores do mundo e chega a receber 200 mil visitantes por mês.
